Alex I really do appreciate getting an oppurtunity to see what I can learn from you. I haven’t purchased any of your courses because i have an identity theft situation and I have been kind of hesitant about using my credit card but I have been playing for about a year now and I am self taught. I am just trying to improve my runs and licks and I think you can help me.

Hello Alex, thanks so much for all your hard work. Man, although my music background is focused on the latin side (salsa & latin jazz) your lessons and techniques have definetly enhanced my music skills and performance. From a bass player’s perspective, the term “Knowledge is power” kind of defines our role, and your lessons provide the fuel for that power.

Bill this is probably just a connection issue. Try restarting the video, hitting pause when it starts and giving it time to pre-load…

Thanks Alex I just cant wait for the release of your new project. Thanks for all of your hard work as it is much appreciated and so far you have opened my mind to a hole new way of thinking musically. In my books you are the man, the only one that can teach the way that you do that just blows our mind and opens up new ways of how to approach music and the bass guitar.

Thank you. Eugene.

Well!!!! I am 53 years of age, recently became a Christian. Over a period of my time I have been playing, been grabbing books on guitars and Bass. So Is an off and on situation. Never really play for anyone till now. The Church I go to needed Bass and Guitar player. And was asked if I could play for them. I mean no tryouts just jump in and play. Well!!! I was nervous. And I order you chores. And It help a lot. Man you are a Blessing
And may God continue to bless you

Bring it on, Alex! I’ve had my head in your books and hands on the bass for the last month and jammed with a band today and I definately felt less nervous about where I had to go or where I could go when we were just jammin’. It felt awesome! Definately felt better than playing covers!

Alex - I’m looking forward to the fretboard formula videos, as a really really new novice beginner, still working on finger placement and note location on the vey simplest of chords, I hope you start off with very basic baby steps, not with such abstract concepts as keeping with the drummer with fast played notes that I do not understand. Your playing is awesome and amazing to watch but is at such a high level it is far out of my comprehension. I will be watching all of the pre-release course videos hoping they will start way way down at my level with the A B C’s not at a more advanced player level.

Alex, I am really looking forward to your new course. I am still working on volume 2 but I am really exited about the new Fretboard Formula coming out in August. I am really learning a lot from your course and again thank you. Anyone who wants to learn and has not ordered your BGS course is really missing out. God has truly blessed you with a special talent and it is wonderful that you are willing to share it with others.

Hi Alex,

I love Bass Guitar Secrets, especially playing with the Kick and Snare exercise. I have 40 presets on my drum machine and even though I have to slow some of them down I can eventually speed them back up thanks to you.

Your lessons have taught me to play all the modes through 2 octaves but the Fretboard Formula has really got me excited!!!!!!!!

Keep Grooving,
Mark
